Research

My work connects stochastic analysis and numerical methods with machine learning, developing algorithms and studying when and why they converge.

01

Stochastic control & games

Numerical methods for stochastic optimal control and differential games, with a focus on coupled forward–backward stochastic differential equations (FBSDEs), convergence, and time-inconsistent decision problems.

02

Deep learning for stochastic equations

Deep learning algorithms for backward stochastic differential equations (BSDEs) and backward stochastic Volterra integral equations (BSVIEs), including problems with jumps, path dependence, and non-standard features.

03

Computational finance

Applications to portfolio optimization, derivative valuation, exposure profiles, and valuation adjustments (xVA), connecting numerical algorithms with problems in financial risk management.
